Greg Gillette, N.E., H.C.
Greg Gillette, a nutrition educator and herbal consultant, is ready to show you how to repair, rebuild and restore your health through foods and natural supplements.
He began his career in the natural health industry in 1996 by working for Whole Foods, in Raleigh, NC. Working in the produce department was his favorite spot. He assisted customers with produce selection, provided nutritional data on various fruits and vegetables, and suggested various menu ideas and food combinations. Whole Foods was his springboard into holistic healing.
In 2000, Greg moved to Silver City, NM to attend the New Mexico College of Natural Healing to become an herbal consultant. In addition to studying herbal medicine, Greg was an apprentice at Desert Bloom Herbs. Between school and apprenticing, experience was gained in making herbal tinctures, salves, compresses, and teas. Other learning experiences include identifying and harvesting wild herbs in the mountains and desert and providing herbal consultations for clients.
In 2003, Greg returned for more education at Bauman College in Penngrove, CA. Greg studied nutrition and became a nutrition educator. Soon after graduation, Greg began his own private practice, providing health consultations in the areas of nutrition, natural supplements, exercise, mental awareness, and meditation.
In 2005, he had the opportunity to work as a nutritionist with Cocoon Nutrition, in Campbell CA. Experience and duties consisted of discussing natural health and offering nutritional advice with clients through out the country, responding to nutritional questions via email, and making recommendations in regards to the natural supplements that Cocoon Nutrition provided.
Having worked in a clinic and with private clients, Greg has seen how disease and other health conditions can be reversed with healing foods, some of which you have been told to avoid because they are harmful, but really are healing and promote new cellular growth.
Greg has worked with all types of people with all types of health conditions, including heart disease, diabetes, cancer, arthritis, eating disorders, digestive imbalances, fatigue, weight-loss, allergies, ADD, ADHD, mental illness and sports nutrition.
